Firewater initally started out as a supergroup helmed by Tod A. in the aftermath of Cop Shoot Cop's split. The first incarnation of the group also included members of bands such as Soul Coughing and Motherhead Bug.

North Coast Kathryn Eisendrath Rogers has been appointed to replace David Peter on the San Luis Coastal Unified School District board. Peter?s resignation is effective today; Rogers will be appointed at the Dec. 4 school board meeting, said board secretary Kim Holmes.
